Getting Started

This guide will help you create your account and get started with Auktiva.

Creating an Account

Option 1: Email & Password

  1. Visit the Auktiva homepage
  2. Click “Get Started” or “Register”
  3. Fill in your details:
    • Name - Your display name
    • Email - Used for login
    • Password - Minimum 6 characters
  4. Click “Create Account”

Option 2: Sign in with Google or Microsoft

If your Auktiva instance has OAuth enabled, you can sign up instantly:

  1. Click “Google” or “Microsoft” on the login or register page
  2. Select your account
  3. You’re automatically signed in with your profile

Social sign-in is optional and depends on whether the administrator has enabled it. If you don’t see the Google or Microsoft buttons, use email registration instead.

Linking Social Accounts to Existing Account

If you already have an account and want to link Google or Microsoft:

  1. Log in with your email and password
  2. Go to Settings → Connected Accounts
  3. You’ll see your connection status for each provider

To link an account, simply sign in with Google or Microsoft using the same email address as your existing account - they will be automatically linked.

The Dashboard

After logging in, you’ll see your dashboard showing:

Your Auctions

All auctions you’ve created or joined appear as cards showing:

  • Auction name and thumbnail
  • Your role (Owner, Admin, Creator, or Bidder)
  • Number of items and members

Your Active Bids

Items you’ve bid on with:

  • Current bid amount
  • Whether you’re winning or outbid

Creating Your First Auction

  1. Click “Create Auction” on your dashboard
  2. Fill in the auction details
  3. Configure settings
  4. Click “Create Auction”

Joining an Auction

Open Auctions

Click to view and start bidding.

Click the link to join automatically.

Email Invitation

Click the link in the email to accept.
