Auctions
Auctions are the core of Auktiva. This guide explains how to create and configure auctions.
Creating an Auction
- Click “Create Auction” on your dashboard
- Fill in the basic information:
- Name - A clear, descriptive title
- Description - Details about the auction
- Thumbnail - Optional cover image
Auction Settings
Join Mode
| Mode | Description |
|---|---|
| Invite Only | Only invited users can join |
| Link | Anyone with the link can join |
| Open | Anyone can join |
Bidder Visibility
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Visible | Bidders can see who placed each bid |
| Anonymous | Bidder names are hidden |
| Per-Bid Choice | Each bidder chooses per bid |
Auction owners and admins can always see bidder identities.
Item End Mode
| Mode | Description |
|---|---|
| Auction End | All items end when auction ends |
| Custom | Each item has its own end date |
| None | Items don’t automatically end |
Managing Your Auction
Ending an Auction Early
- Go to auction Settings
- Click “End Auction Now”
- Confirm the action
Ending an auction is irreversible.
Deleting an Auction
- Go to auction Settings
- Click “Delete Auction”
- Confirm by typing the auction name
Deleting removes all items, bids, and member data permanently.
